Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Fort Wayne Police solve the 17th homicide for 2009. On September 27, 2009 uniform officers from the FWPD were attempting to stop a vehicle for erractic driving. This vehicle crashed at Anthony and Mckinnie,the officers discovered that the driver, Lewis D. Haney had been shot.The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died from his wounds.Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867.
